Deputy Accuses Public Ministry of Manipulating Odebrecht Case

Deputy Luis Eduardo Camacho once again pointed to the Public Ministry, ensuring that justice is being manipulated in the Odebrecht case. For now, the documents only have the seal of the Public Ministry itself. Camacho described the situation as "the worst form of corruption" and stated that the institution needs an urgent cleanup to remove officials who, in his opinion, have politicized and commercialized justice. According to Camacho, many of these documents were already in the file, several were annulled in Brazil, and, in addition, they do not meet the basic requirements for legal validity, such as certified translations into Spanish by recognized professionals. Camacho's message reflects concern about the transparency of the institution and raises doubts about how judicial processes are being handled in high-impact cases such as Odebrecht. The deputy criticized the recent presentation of alleged "new evidence" from the United States.
