Panamanian singer Eddy Lover was released by a judge of the Bolivian justice system after being detained and held in police custody. The artist was being investigated for the alleged crimes of extortion, threats, fraud, and breach of contract during his tour in Bolivia. Eddy was apprehended by the Special Force for the Fight Against Crime (Felcc) in La Paz, right after concluding his concert titled "Old School Romantic Flow". His arrest took place following a complaint filed by the production company ShowYan.bo, which had hired Eddy Lover for a series of performances in the country. This company claims that Eddy Lover did not show up for the scheduled concert in Santa Cruz, which presumably took place on November 20, leading to significant logistical and economic losses. The singer reportedly requested additional payments to continue the performance schedule, which included events in Cochabamba on November 21 and in La Paz on November 22.
